No. Unlike services such as OpenTable, ResOS does not require the use of a proprietary computer system. It will work with any computer that is connected to the internet or any smart phone such as an iPhone or Blackberry. All you need is one of the following standard office devices to manage reservations generated by ResOS. We recommend using all three, but it is not necessary.

1. A standard fax machine
2. A computer connected to the internet
3. A smart phone capable of receiving email or SMS text messages.
